H.H. Prince Waldemar zu Schaumburg-Lippe, Sekundogenitur Nachod, is the son of H.H. Princess Feodora of Denmark from the Royal House of Denmark and H.H. Prince Christian zu Schaumburg-Lippe. His cousin is Her Majesty Queen Margarethe II. of Denmark and he is part of the line of succession to the British Throne.

The family’s religion is protestant-reformed (Calvin).
